Superintendent Survey
The Dartmouth School Committee is seeking input from the community as it starts the process of selecting the next Superintendent of Schools.  The process will take about six months to select a person to lead the Dartmouth Public Schools.  The start date for the new Superintendent will be July 1, 2015. The process involves, but is not limited to, developing search timeline, develop qualifications, form a selection criteria, have focus groups, an online survey, and establish an informational brochure about the schools and the community.

A few early important steps in this process is to have an online survey and focus groups that involve the community members input on what you think is important in selecting a Superintendent for the Town of Dartmouth.  More information about the focus groups will be coming soon.  You can now take the online survey by clicking on the provided link below.

Mix It Up Day
Mix It Up Day was celebrated on Tuesday, Oct. 28th. Children (and staff!) were encouraged to mix up their clothing to celebrate being different and acceptance of all. We also mixed up who students sit with at lunch using a color-coded system. Conversation starters were placed on the lunch tables to help students meet new friends.  Decorations, music, and a mural were all part of the fun as well.

Pictured show some of the fun we had!

Quinn School Celebrated Unity Day!

Unity Day is a day when people across America show their care and concern about creating safe and supportive schools and communities who are committed to stopping bullying by wearing the color ORANGE on Unity Day. It's the day everyone can come together—in schools, communities, and online—and send one large ORANGE message of support, hope, and unity. Pictured above shows how Quinn celebrated Unity Day!
